That is certainly good to hear....We are coming up to the NC in October as well.  Another reason to see just what we are jumping into by doing the OD.  But, of course.....I wanted to do the OD anyway.  :)

For all those reading about the rigors of crewing for the OD 100 (it really is an exhausting experience), I wanted to reassure those considering the trip to Fort Valley for the National Championships this fall that the course for the NC 100 will be MUCH simplier logistically to crew for. All the holds are in the valley, so total drive time is much reduced from the 100, and there is also more parking space at these holds. Bob Walsh & company have put a lot of thought into making the course do-able since there's not as much daylight as in June, and they will be updating their NC website later this year...meanwhile, refer to www.olddominionrides.org for the link and other info - Mary Howell
