The reason this happens so much with ridecamp is the way it is set up. If you hit reply it only goes to the poster - not to the list. To get it to the list you have to hit "reply all" and it goes to all names on the message. To get it only to ridecamp one has to remove all recipients other than ridecamp. Most people don't do that. This is different than the yahoo groups for examply where reply goes only to the list.

Why is that - it's the way John T set up the list. People should be a little more careful to sent it only to the list if that is what they want but I suspect many don't know they have to hit "reply all" and then edit the "to" or just hit reply all and "let 'er rip."

it's on email or on the website, so if a reply is sent to ridecamp at endurance
dot net, the original writer will see it.

Am I missing some obvious reason to use "Reply To All"?
