[RC] Jan'sCovers/ advice - rides2far

Jan retired a few years ago....Darn.

I have a like new one that I believe was Jan's. I bought it from someone
who'd bought it new, then sold the saddle before it arrived. It's a full
cover for an OF Express. I want to use it but the darned thing is double
layer on the seat and has a seam top and bottom right down the middle
that rubs. I thought about selling it but decided I'd like to attempt to
make it work. I like the double padding on my seat bones and the seam
isn't a problem, but don't like the bulkiness up front (I have to use a
small seat saddle because of the length of my legs). Thought about
cutting out a section underneath and sewing a heavy cotton fabric in its
place. Has anyone ever done anything like that? If I don't do that...I've
got a like new one I'll sell. :-P
