It couldn't have been much later.  Joni was born 1994.  Meaning Joel I were married in 1993.   That only leaves 92 and 91.  I will agree it could have been 1992....I was dating him when I did this little trick.

Yep. I worked that ride, as a pulse taker. I literally got pneumonia, and was
on antibiotics for a while. I think it was a year or two later, though, because
I was single. There's a story about that, one of the reasons Kat is my wife.

The day I went to the doctor and found out I had pneumonia, I had a date with
one of my girlfriends that night. Not Kat. I called my date and told her that
I'd come down with pneumonia, and was told to stay home and not go out for a few
days, and could she come to my house instead (I lived about 20 miles away from
her place). She said, no, that was too far to drive on a weeknight.

So I called Kat, and she said, "OhMyGod! I'll be right there!!"

The rest, as they say, is history.
