But, have you noticed that most horses with high heels are often 
straighter through the pastern & shoulder?  Thus their conformation >>as a 
whole is the predisposition for navicular.  

Since you seem to have mules, I have a question. Why are the rules aparently so 
different for mules? Their little tiny upright feet seem to be great. My 
grandfather always used mules rather than draft horses because they didn't 
trample the rows with their tiny feet.
