Re: [RC] Ulcer/Irish - Linda S. FlemmerI wouldn't jump too quickly to the idea of ulcers without looking at other training issues. Any chance that Irish is experienceing sore back muscles as he starts to use them with you riding him? Sore muscles Saddle fit Chiropractic issues - We jhave a lot of slippery mud here & they guys goof off in it... After treating him for ulcers months ago...he shouldn't have one! So...I'm waiting for my vet. to call me this morning, I may have to put him on neigh-lox, etc. But....what this probably means is that Irish just is not fit to be an endurance horse!!!! Of course...this just makes me want to pull my hair out after all I've been through with Irish and his seller. So...if anyone has any ideas on how to keep this horse healthy enough to ride, e-mail me privately at cl705@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Thanks, Cherie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
