Re: [RC] Average speed during a ride - Diane Trefethen

If you want to talk about speed, check out the average speed times at each Gate
of the President's Cup.  The winner, Naser Abdulla Mohd Al Marzouqi riding
Kaysand Farrajah, rode at an overall average speed of 21.75. (Gate 1-21.51,
Gate 2 - 21.94, Gate 3 - 21.97, Gate 4 - 21.57, Gate 5 -21.53, Gate 6 - 21.99)
Second place and BC, Marzooq Salem Al Marri riding Ro-Fabiola rode at an
overall average speed of 21.36.  (G1 - 20.84, > G2 - 21.64, G3 - 21.64,
G4 - 20.89, G5 - 21.42, G6 - 21.69)


Just to maintain perspective, the speeds are km/hr not mph. Completion time for the winner was 7.16hr = 13.97mph = 18.16km/hr
