I've got a question. At the Frigid Digit this past weekend, both nights got into the mid 20's. How do you keep your horse's water from freezing solid?
When you expect the temp to drop below freezing overnight, bring a bucket of water inside your sleeping area. Even in a tent or the back of a pickup the water won't freeze and you can give it to your horse as soon as you wake up.
