Re: [RC] [RC] Eventing vest info wanted - Debbie Parsons

I have been wearing the Tipperary Eventing vest every time I ride since I broke 4 ribs in Feb04. It’s pretty flexible so you don’t feel like a turtle and if you wear a shirt with wicking qualities, you can deal with the heat. I’m in FL and I’ll admit it is a bit warm in the summer but on those cool days, you don’t need a jacket! I’ve done a number of 50s wearing the vest and it’s really not that bad . . . far more comfortable than those broken ribs were! And even though I am no longer riding “Rib buster” and have less reactive horses now, I still wear it every time because knowing my luck, the time I didn’t wear it would be when a horse-eating possum would run out on the trail and I’d splat the wrong way.
