One of the things that helped Kahlil become such a good endurance horse
was our experience as volunteers with the Madison County Sheriff's
Mounted Posse.  He experienced parades (with lots of noise, crowds, and
balloons), fireworks, rock concerts, country music concerts, the State
Fair, tractor pulls, even an airplane crash.  you name it.

After all that, nothing much fazed him.
