We wish you all a wonderful holiday, Christmas, Hanukkah -  whatever you're

John and I are in Scottsdale, AZ for a few months, escaping the Idaho chill,
our horses and dogs with us, and our 3 boys and one almost-daughter-in-law
are joining us for Christmas. And we've all squeezed into the home of our
wonderful friends Kevin and Rusty. They treated us all to comp tickets at
the Arizona Ballet's new and spectacular Nutcracker Suite. Kevin is the
executive director of the ballet and Rusty is one of the very talented
dancers. It was a stunning performance, our first live Nutcracker, and a
doozy - fantastic.  Plus we went to Ib's house (the artistic director for
the company) last night for his anual Christmas Eve party for the company -
so many stunning dancers - wonderful folks. Lots of fun. And the company's
lead dancer is from Argentina, her husband owns the Argentina School of
Tango, and it turns out that he knows the family of one of our good
Argentine endurance friends Eduardo (Beccar Varela) on and on goes this
circle of friends around the world!
