Have you asked your horse about this?  Why not try it with a bicycle
first and go from there. :-)

We've already discussed air brakes, tractor trailers, teenagers that feel they must lay on the horn and yell out the window as they pass, and crazy people flailing about next to her. She doesn't care about much of anything, except the next time she gets to eat or rest. Not to mention, we've already been in small cities/towns.

And to everyone else, yes, I'm familiar with Claremont, but was
curious about the actual laws regarding horses on the street  I've
heard some mention that Claremont would board a horse, and some that
they would not. The subject came up in a discussion with a friend in
NYC, who is not a horse person, so figured I would ask here.

I would not think it an easy (or maybe even particularly wise) thing
to do, and it is probably more curiousity about the ability to do such
a thing, than actually doing it (unless I found myself in NY, with
nothing better to do). I can't imagine the hell in getting a trailer
into those narrow city streets.
