Re: [RC] solar chargers - Patty P

I have a solar charger on my bran new trailer...so this string of emails is really helping me understand...he said it is a trickle charger and the battery has a conditioner..what on earth is that? He also said the solar charger doesnt often charge the battery all the way...and he used two 50 pound generators when he camped...this trailer doesnt even have a cooking area, heat, or air conditioning... so I dont know what he used it for.

First thank you for sharing all this info, have a question on your #3.  Here
is what I do: I keep my generator on the truck and plug the trailer into the
generator and run the generator as I need it during the weekend.  I do not
unplug the trailer from the truck.  Should I be unpluging the trailer from
the truck while I am parked for the weekend?  I have two deep cycle
batteries and what you call a battery minder ( mine is called a Charge
Wizard).

thanks,
