[RC] camping and generators-joe long - Ed Kilpatrickhey joe, i have one of those little devices like you mentioned. works just like you said, just plug it into the power point or cigarette lighter to convert, good for light duty stuff. and like you said, if you have an appliance that uses a bit more power, then you can just crank up the truck, which, in this case would then work a lot like a.....um.....let's see.....what's the word? A GENERATOR!!!!!! ps. dont crank the truck up at night....... :-) cowboy ed
