[RC] Many Shay Days in my life, thank God - Cindy Collins

While I, too, assumed the story was fabricated, we can all learn lessons
from fables and myths. Luckily I am blessed to be a special education
teacher who works with middle school students who are emotionally disabled
or autistic. I am also a Special Olympics coach and a therapeutic riding
instructor. I just laugh inside when people come up to me and say how
great "I am" for working with these young people. They give me so much
more than I could ever give them and when I am away from them for too long
something inside me shrivels and starts to die. I can't imagine working
with the "average," spoiled, narcissistic, middle class students. No
offense to anyone, but THAT would be depressing. Cindy
