[RC] Louise Reidel - Bruce Weary

Louise was a special lady, whom I admit I did not know very well.We met on the trail in 1991 when she was riding a borrowed HCC horse. She mentioned that he was for sale, and I liked what I saw in him. I asked what her opinion was of him at the end of the ride. She said these exact words: "I've never had a nicer ride." That was enough for me, and I bought the horse. We had only a couple of conversations on the phone after that, but I remember her as very polite and professional. Though I'm sure her legacy as a person is even more impressive, her accomplishments in endurance riding are awe inspiring: 17,000 miles with a 97% completion rate and she completed every single 100 mile ride she attempted.
