Re: [RC] Tipping Etiquette - Sky Ranch

My reaction to the suggesting tip list was, gee, maybe I should consider
becoming one of these people that get such great tips! :-p

I think some clarification is in order here! First of
all, no, I do not employ anyone! Second of all I said
it was a "guide" that I used! Third, no one should do
anything they are not comfortable doing or able to do.
That is paramount to using credit cards for your
holiday shopping and paying for it all year.

Lastly, remember there are many people on this list
that are from wide ranges of socio/economic
backgrounds. Some people are fortunate to be able to
have a horse and pay for it's care and still be able
to etch out a living for themselves. There are others
that are more fortunate/lucky and have extra to spread
around during the holidays. It makes them feel good.
Then there are those that have more money than brains!
They go for the ostentatious and have made it very
difficult for the 'average' being.

Bottom line is this. Do what you are comfortable
with. If you choose not to tip someone that's your
right and you shouldn't feel like you 'have' to in
order to keep up with someone else!

list that D'Arcy
provided makes my head swim! Good grief, if you
employ all those people you
have provided them with a job all year, then you
feel you must also reward
them further? If that is your bag....good on you,
