[RC] Trailer unloading - Sharon Hahn

Practice backing your horses through a doorway, preferably one that goes from inside to outside so they get the same bright/dark transition as in the trailer.  Works great.  When they graduate, try the trailer again.  Another thing that works is to practice backing your horse out before they get all the way in (this works better for the zooming backwards type than the afraid to move type).  And be patient.  When my mare was a yearling, she sat on the trailer for a couple of hours once before she'd back out.  Remember to praise and give them a break if they even shift their weight back and think about backing out.
