[RC] Lights in the Parkway - Thekids18049

Hi!

Thanks for the responses.

1)  I was not planning on holding the ride this December. It was an idea of winter of 07-08.
There is plenty of gravel and grass parking lots to hold all the trailers. It's very open with woodsy sections, very twisty and turny, sloping hills, all groomed trails.

2)  I was planning on it being here and not other areas where rides have been held in the past because I thought it would be exciting to do it when they held all the amazing hughe christmas lights, music, animated lights, etc. from the end of november throughout the beginning of january. I will try to get some pictures.

3)  Also, I haven't found out for sure about camping but there have been events held there many times where there was overnight camping.

4)  And, during December in PA. It is usually cold and no one is at the parkway at all. But, even though it is cold I don't think there would be a high chance of a weather issue as of snow, sleet, or ice. Normally, in December we don't get much. And I've been to some other rides where there are many pedestrians, cyclists, walkers, etc. That wouldn't be a problem at all here.

5) And after I thought about it, I would be able to make it a 50 or a 55 miler and a 25 LD.
