[RC] Pain and stiffness after a 50, a given? - rides2far

EEK! You guys are scaring me with your tales of pain
and stiffness after a 50. Is it really common?

Aw come on. You can't tell me you chose this sport and didn't *want* to
be sore. Why do you think we ride so far in the first place? I could
take Advil or something but why? I worked hard to feel that much like I'd
done something other people wouldn't do. :-) You know what they say...
"Pain is weakness leaving the body". If my thighs are sore, that means I
did more than they were used to doing, which means they'll now reinforce
themselves some because they realize I'm liable to ask them to do it
again. Can't you just hear that Rocky theme song..."Getting strong now,
won't be long now" :-)

Angie
