[RC] EZboot bares - Laney HumphreyI've been using Bares for almost 3 months and like them a lot. I will admit that they take determination to put on, especially when the boot is new, but I'm a klutz when it comes to adjusting the cables on Epics so I really like the fact that once the Bare is on, it is on! As for putting a Bare on, I make sure and have leather gloves on my hands and have my pair of fence pliers handy for whacking the boot to ease it on if necessary. I've also discovered that the boots fit my horse better without the rear strap and with substituting Tapers instead of the ends of the rear strap that have the screw holes. I've also been using the thin comfort pads which work really well. But, having said all that, each horse is different and each hoof is a bit different so be prepared to experiment. There is a wealth of information on the easycare website and the customer service reps are knowledgeable and helpful so don't hesitate to ask for help instead of just giving up in frustration!
