My gelding will be with me for life. If I come off he will stop immediately, come over to me and give me a puzzled look like "what are you doing down there again?" He will then lower his head down to me. I will grab the bottom of his bridle (halter bridle) and he will lift me to my feet. With as often as I come off I couldn't imagine having a horse that I had to chase down. Of course with all the walking I would end up doing I would be in much better shape and I might not come off as often....
