Unless treated, wood rots and only lasts 10 years or so. It can be replaced by local handyman.

Aluminum corrodes and needs replacement in 5-10 years. There are two ways to stop this. You can remove the mats and wash out the horse piss every time you use it. (like this ever happens) or you can get it coated with Urethane truck bed liner (Rhino liner or the like). Coated Al floors will last a long long time.
