Re: [RC] NC50 no riding in the dark - Truman Prevatt

Hate to say " I told ya so".
Then don't.

I've witnessed three bad wrecks. The first was in a 100 in the morning - just at daylight - when a group took a wrong turn and ended on an old hunting trail that wasn't cleared for riding and someone got taken off by a limb. The other was on a 50 at about 10 AM. They can happen anytime. The third was at the start of an LD at 9 AM - right at the start.

IMO it's pretty rude to second guess the OD organization without any knowledge of why they selected the starting time they did. Did you call and ask why? They have been at this a long time. They know the area and they have run a lot of rides.

We should all be pulling for Irvin to have a speed recovery rather than playing "Monday morning quarterback" without any knowledge as to why the time was set.
