Re: [RC] riding in half chaps - Julie Fuller

I don't know if anyone suggested this already but if you ride where it's really cold and/or wet, shipping boots make awesome half chaps. I use the kind that are cordura on the inside and the outside. Just spray some decent waterproofing on them and you're good to go! If you've got kinda big calves (you know, cuz of all the posting muscles*grin*) just add some velcro to the straps.

Now you know what to do with all those stupid shipping boots that don't stay on your horse!
