[RC] Ride in Chaps - Sheila_Larsen

Well I know a lot of people who do and they obviously like them. I just
bought a pair and went out on a 12 mile ride and could see them being warm
in hot weather but they are leather not suede. They are made to fit over
paddock boots so they are an half chap. I hope it was a typo when your
wrote $300-500. There were $100 half chaps on sale for $50 and even on
sale I know I could have gotten a pair for $30-$50 but they fit very nicely
and were a very soft leather with padding on the inside. Ok I know I can
wear them instead of my english boots for my dressage lesson. I don't know
that because of your height you would need custom ones because I have seen
extra tall ones by Ariat (I believe). So my recommendation is to really
shop around and look at measurements.
