of Endurance, United States Equestrian Federation, Inc., Lexington,

Position
Summary:
This position is located in Gladstone, NJ. Under general direction of the
Managing Director of FEI Affiliates, this position is responsible for providing
leadership and promoting the discipline of Endurance, including forwarding the
work of, and serving as secretary to, associated committees; traveling to
competitions; providing primary logistical support; enhancing the athlete?s
ability to compete at an optimal level; generating revenues to fund and develop
programs; developing and administering the budget; coordinating the selection of
the best teams to represent the United States in international competitions;
facilitating and maintaining communication within the discipline community, and
keeping complete and accurate records. In fulfillment of these responsibilities,
this position interacts with the associated Committees, organizing Committees,
coaches, veterinarians, volunteers, affiliate groups and other Federation staff.
Qualifications/Requirements: Education ? High School diploma required.
Bachelor?s degree strongly preferred.
Experience -Extensive experience and knowledge of the equestrian sport,
including competition, is required. International experience preferred.
Skills and Attributes - Strong oral and written communication skills and
effective interpersonal skills required. Must be detail oriented and have the
ability meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Knowledge of Federation
rules is preferred. Willingness to travel extensively required.
