Oh, how true! I have used Knudsen's Recharge for over 15 yrs..the lemon flavor has lemon juice, white grape juice, sea salt, and nothing else! I fill my water bottles with ice, and then top with Recharge..keeps my blood sugar steady and my electrolytes balanced. The lemon is high in potassium, the salt gives you the sodium, the grape juice the sucrose...works wonders IMHO!

If you buy diet sodas that are sweetened with splenda
instead of nutrasweet (aspartame) you won't get the
diuretic affect from the soda.

It's interesting to me that many distance riders will
only feed their horses top-quality, healthy, 'natural'
food, but subsist on questionable stuff themselves.
For anyone who is consuming splenda, you may want to
