If I had a horse that had previously had shoing lameness problems, but then I 
made a change and he was able to do 400 miles without incidence, I would just 
keep him in whatever I had made the change to and be happy.

I wouldn't worry about whether making another change were going to make him go 
lame again, because I wouldn't be making another change.
