[RC] history of endurance in USA? - Steph Teeter

My Brazilian friends Cidinha and Luis (the blind endurance rider that I rode
with http://www.enduranceworld.net/events/2004BragancaPaulista/ ->Field
Notes ->Ride Day) are writing a book on Endurance - and need a section on
the history of Endurance in the US.

Anybody out there want to give it a shot? Doesn't have to be too much. When
and how the sport started, how it has evolved, current number of riders in
the US today.

I don't have a lot of time right now and she needs it asap. any takers?

Steph
