Of course there are diseases.... It's that there is already effective regulations in place.
 
And the ONLY outbreak per the USDA was in 2003.  And no human impact.
 
So, obviously, what is currently in place is working.
 
As far as future technolgy, IDing can include freeze branding, branding, tatooing....  None of these 'technologies" are ruled out for the IDing of horses; as the NAIS states "no one technology will fit"....
So much for your advance technology
 
And I need to clarify something.  The purpose of these posts is not to try and change someone's mind.  Quite the opposite.  It is to bring all the info out... So, that others can ake a reasonable decision.  That is the most important point
