[RC] Foundation QH calculation - Barb Peck

Well- I didn't say it made sense to me either. I have a 20 yr. old QH
registered
with AQHA and FQHA - I'm just passing on the criteria for registration.
(And yes- I think Three Bars was 100% thorobred).

I also have a registered 15:1 Connemara.. - and when I look at his bloodline
he's 28% thorobred, 3% arab and 69% pony.... so I don't really understand
their terminology either.
Things were much easier when I was a kid when it came to describing the various
breeds.

The formula, the limit on TB blood, just does not wash with me. The early
*true* foundation horses DID have TB blood, quite a bit, in fact, and also
Arabian and other breeds. In fact, some of the QH foundation horses were
100% TB, registered TB.
