I've used a top loader to wash my pads (Skito and Toklat
Woolback) for eight years and not had a problem. Maybe
it's because I try and wash at least two pads (and often
3 or 4) at once to balance the machine? My top loader
has eaten reins and halters on occasions, though. Have
to make sure they're on *top* of the pads to keep them
off the bottom.
