RE: [RC] Resting HR on young horses/Stroke Volume/Bradycardia - heidi

Yes, foal heart rates are higher than they will be when their body mass begins to approach their mature size.

Heidi:  Is there a significant difference between the RHR of a youngster and the RHR it will have once it matures?  I have a baby about 5 to 6 months old.  If I measure her RHR now, will it give me an indication of what it will be like in a three or four years? Thanx
