Here in Michigan I ride in fleece riding pants with silk long johns underneath. If it's really cold (Jan-Feb) I add a pair of my hubby's sweats over the top and steal his hunting socks to wear over my thinsulate socks. Your best bet is to invest in a very good pair of boots, if my feet get too cold I'm done for!
