Hello Todd,
I always ride 50's without a crew, always ride a little faster in the 
morning when the horse is fresh and it's cooler, always slow down 
after lunch and enjoy the trail and a calmer horse, always try to 
have fun, always finish in 10+/- hrs, always get dinner ;-)
