Re: [RC] Freeform saddles- question - Tiffany D'Virgilio

I got the leather underside and love it. I also have all three billets. I ordered the special addition SB, and really needed the saddle to test before my surgery. Candy made sure to get it to me in time, even though that meant sending me what she had in stock instead of waiting for mine to come from Italy. She basically gave me the billet upgrade for free with the leather underside because of my time pinch. I love the options I got and Candy was especially gracious with sending me the upgraded saddle. Very much appreciated, and I'm happy to recommend her and Action rider tack. I have no affiliation with her, I'm just a grateful customer and was able to test and know the saddle worked before they put me out of condition for 6 weeks following my surgery.
I got the sympatex lining for my HAF pad and love the combo of sympatex lining on the pad and leather on the saddle. Easily cleanable and breathes as good leather should. If you look at her page, I have the special ed. SB pictured at the top of her freeform page. It's a gorgeous saddle for a decent price considering my other saddle was over 1000 dollars more than the freeform.
I like to spread the word when I find something great that works for me, just as I like to read what works for all of you. I'm constantly checking out how other riders have their tack set up. I think it's some type of horsey shop-aholic thing:)

Two questions actually:

Which do people prefer as an under side? The wool or the Sympatex?

Is just the newer models that have the billets (I think there are 3) for
horses that need a more forward placement?

Thanks,
Barb
