Many trailers are now made with rubber torsion
axles. More free of trouble than springs. The rubber is somewhat
lossy when it twists to spring the ride and will act like a shock
absorber.
Aside from figuring out where to put them, shock
absorbers would be a good idea for trailers. But it would cost money and
nobody does it and.....
