[RC] Tom Noll and his cool horse, Frank - Jennifer AdamI had the privilege and pleasure of helping Jane Switzer crew for Tom Noll and Frank at Tevis. It was my first taste of Tevis and I can honestly say I am addicted - thanks in large part to the experience I had with Tom and Jane. Tom Noll is without a doubt one of the kindest and most patient people I have ever met, and the care and concern he has for Frank is really refreshing. It is obvious that they have a special relationship and his example was so inspiring to me! That is exactly what I want with my horses, and someday I hope to complete Tevis too. It is easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged by the politics, gossip, criticism (implied or otherwise) and competition that sometimes seems to accompany endurance races, but meeting Tom showed me what endurance is *really* all about.
