Re: [RC] 2 Day 100 - Eric Rueter

If you look at Rule 8.6 if states that the "Bonus" points are only valid for one day rides of 100 miles or more.  There is no advantage in points for riding a two day 100 or two 50 mile rides.  The advantage is usually in the entry fee with a two day 100 being a lesser charge than the two 50's.  You also run the risk of not getting credit for the first day if you do not finish the second day of a two day 100.

"8.6 Members completing one-day rides of 100 or more sanctioned miles receive 1.5 times the number of points listed above."

Go to the last page and you can see the difference in the points awarded for 50s vs. 100s.

If you win a 50 with 11+ starters you get 150 points in your division, you can get 300 points max for 2 50s.

If you win a 100 with 11+ starters you get 450 points.

Subject: [RC] 2 Day 100

Hi,

Does anyone know the difference in points in a 2-day 100 and 2 days of 50's. Is there any advantages in the 2-day 100.

Thanks
