To be fair, then, all the horses would have to be the same too. Same height, same weight, same speed, same stride. That's fair. And nonsense. People are different. Horses are different. Tack is different. Riding skills are different. Strategies are different. Conditioning is different. Experience is different. There is no fair. There is only the best team you can put together at the time competing against the best teams others can put together at the time. Maybe you'll win, and maybe you won't.
