[RC] Tevis - Auburn/Robie Park - camping - rides2farHow come the competitors have to pay $15 to camp at Robie and everyone else (crew, spectators, trail riders, and anyone else that happens to be there) can camp for free? I don't know about there, but when I was a ride manager and the owner of the ridecamp wanted to charge for camping I told him to break down how much he wanted per rider because there was no way I could chase down every person who came into camp to charge them, and since most of them were coming for the sake of a rider the riders would should bear the cost. The only place we took up money was at the sign up booth so if I couldn't add it into the entry fee I'd have to chase people down....as it turns out that's exactly what he insisted I do. I didn't manage any more rides there after that year.
