[RC] "I promise to keep quiet now- for a long time. Julie" - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I freely admit I have a lot to learn. I may join in a joke or dispense some old
man philosophy. But I just read and learn when you speak of endurance horse
care and conditioning. I am starting to learn who's post to read and the ones
to read with salt.

To finish is to win, yes I get it. But I've seen some who ride as thought it
means, finish at all cost, or to not finish is to lose. "To ride with the best
interest of your horse or mule in mind at all times", just doesn't make as
snappy a slogan.

As for;
"I promise to keep quiet now- for a long time. Julie"
Posts from you and others like you, there aren't many, are the only reason I
read Ridecamp.

Julie Suhr, if I would ever ride TEVIS and was lucky enough to make it to the
finish line and you were there. I would be honored to have you walk Annabelle
the last ten feet across the line. That would mean no completion, no points,
and no miles. Just an honor better than a buckle. To me it's only about the
ride.

Rob and Annabelle
