[RC] Follow-up to horse with uneven neck muscle & behavior problems - Claire Nystrom

Thanks for all the great responses to my previous post about my QH
with some major behavior problems. I had the chiropractor come today
and it turns out he was out of alignment in the jaw, atlas (tilted and
off to the side), his lower neck, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum and
sacroiliac. The vet thinks the misalignment is most likely due to his
former occupation as a breeding stallion and enduring fondness for the
ladies (even though he's gelded). I had never seen a chiropractic
exam and adjustment before, and it seemed a little strange, but Tobi
loved every moment of it. He'll need a follow-up in 3-4 weeks and
will able to be ridden again after 48 hours of rest. I just hope the
sheet of ice covering the entire ring thaws by then so I can see if
his behavior is improved.
