Exactly what we do at Swanton Pacific. It's really very easy.
The finish line timer and his helpers don't allow anyone in the top 12 to leave
the finish line until they have untacked the horse and weighed in.

We solved that by weighing them at the finish line and no, they
are not allowed to go to their trailer until they weigh in. If they want
to show for BC they must weight at the finish
