[RC] Commute - Hybrid Vehicles - rides2far

I am fixing to do it the Amish way. Like Angie, I need
to save the money for rides.

Alright, I'm back. I just did a mileage test. Rode my bike 6 miles
braving semis and barking dogs...did my Curves workout, and rode 12 miles
home, (OK, really 6 again but it felt longer) between 12:10 and 12:50,
heat of the day, just to make sure I'd get a "Worst case scenario".

Here's my findings Jody, I came home "not hungry" which means I made it
up there and back on the bowl of Raisin Nut Bran I had for breakfast.
There's 12 servings per box at $3.69, so it cost me maybe 30 cents as
opposed to $2.81 in my truck. If my "time is money" it would be more, but
I would have been goofing off so that doesn't count. At the cost of hay
this year, you might do better to run on Raisin Nut Bran and just get a
bike. It's quite possible to get where I need to go on a bike. However,
when I get there nobody is going to want to sit near me.

P.S. The water in my waterbottle got hot, and the smell of road kill is
warm in your nose as you go by....but I got to smell the Mimosa trees
too. :-)
