Congratulations on
completing the Bighorn 100. I really wanted to try at least the 50 this
year, but we are having to take a year off from competition while we get our new
boarding facility up and running. Sounds like you had a great ride and it
was quite an accomplishment.
Can you tell me more
about the horse that died - was his name spelled Aandy, half brother to Saamson
who won Tevis a while back? I am fairly sure that I recognize the name
Maureen Jewell as the person who bought a horse that I used to own. I
traded him to DeAnne Knapp several years ago when we needed a horse more suited
for CTR and she needed one more suited for endurance. He was my husband's
first distance horse and he has often wished he had him back. He was quite
a horse and I'm quite sorry to hear he died. I would have loved to have
followed his Tevis ride.

you and please pass on my sympathy the Maureen if you talk to her
soon.
