Re: [RC] [RC] EASY BOOT -BEAR STYLE - Dream Weaver

Is there anyone out there who has used the Easyboot Bear boot?

Hi Jo Ann: I've used the Bares a lot, and have one set that's got about 600 or 650 miles of competition on them are they look almost as good as new! They are great when they work for your horse. Chief especially goes well in them because of the lower profile and how close he travels behind. I've had a little harder time getting them to fit as well on my other horses though, so I mix and match between the Bares and Epics depending upon the hoof shape and size.

I've got a lot of information on using the boots posted to my blog: http://easycareinc.typepad.com/karen/ you can click on whatever category you are interested in from the left hand column and it'll show you all the posts on that boot. There is a lot of useful information up there on using Easyboots, Epics, Bares, etc. I have even updated the Easyboot 101 article from a few years ago and it's there.

Here is a link to a photo album showing how to adjust the Bares: http://easycareinc.typepad.com/photos/bungee_adjustments/p1010011.html

Some of the guys may want to check out the photo in this link, and report back what the first thing is they notice <g> http://easycareinc.typepad.com/karen/2006/07/there_goes_the_.html It's probably not going to be the boots, or the horse. ;-)

P.S. I just posted a photo of the area where Rocky's sarcoid was. The vet finished removing what was left of it yesterday and now it just has to heal. Looks like it's doing really well though. If anybody has a horse with a sarcoid and hasn't tried Xxterra yet, they may want to check into it as it definitely worked very well
