[RC] Serious drought/HOT in SE (Seriously WET in NE) - Barb Peck

I know you guys in the South are suffering drought.  We in the NE are suffering 
from too
much rain/flooding and wet fields..  Our neighbor (full time farmer) usually 
cuts our fields and his own and puts in about 15,000 (square) bales.. he's 
gotten in about 500 bales total so far - 
Can't get on the fields except maybe to chopp it for hayledge (and horses can't 
eat that).

We had a year like this in 1998 - and first cut was done late August, dead 
grass with the 2nd cut grown up into it.
There will eventually be hay here- but there'll be less of it, and not very 
good quality for the most part.
