[RC] slightly off topic - how do you estimate a horse's future height? - Jennifer Adam

Sorry, folks, this is slightly off-topic but it does relate to a future endurance prospect! I'm trying to guess how tall a yearling filly might grow. I seem to remember reading somewhere about a math formula that would give you an estimated height based on the length of the legs... I know that's vague but that's all I can remember. Does anyone else know this formula? How do you guess height? (And yes, I know there can be influencing factors. Just wanting a rough idea...)
TIA,
Jen Adam
